Meet Polky
Every family has that one relative nobody can quite explain. For the Polk family... it's Polky.
🤔 Nobody knows exactly where he came from. There isn't a birth certificate, an employment application, or even a first day on the job. One morning he simply wandered onto a Glenn Polk lot carrying a ring of keys in one hoof and a stack of cash in the other.
Oddly enough... nobody asked any questions.
🚗 From the very beginning, Polky had a gift. While everyone else saw mileage, dents, and scratches, he saw memories. A ranch truck. A family's first SUV. A project car that was definitely going to get finished "next weekend." To Polky, every vehicle deserved another adventure.
Then he noticed something that broke his little pig heart. Great vehicles were being forgotten.
Some sat behind barns. Others collected dust in garages. Owners assumed they weren't worth much anymore or kept saying, "I'm gonna fix it someday." (History says... they probably won't.) So Polky decided to do something about it.
💵 Most superheroes wear capes. Polky carries cash.
Before long, people across North Texas started talking. Somehow, Polky always seemed to appear right when someone was thinking about selling a vehicle. Some folks say he can smell an unused pickup from three counties away. One guy even claims Polky reminded him about a Jeep he'd forgotten he owned - We're still looking into that one.
🐽 When Polky finally wandered into Glenn Polk Auto Group, something felt familiar. The Polk family believed exactly what he believed: treat people honestly, offer a fair price, keep your word, and make every customer feel like family. In other words, Polky had been living the Polk Promise before it even had a name.
So we did the only thing that made sense - We made him one of the Polks.
🤝 Today, you'll find Polky roaming our dealerships looking for great vehicles, shaking hooves... we mean hands... and making sure every trade gets the respect it deserves. He's become part of our family, and if he happens to make you an offer on your vehicle... You should probably hear him out.
Fun Fact: Human Resources still insists Polky was never officially hired... but nobody has been brave enough to tell him.
